Kovacevic Draga
The Divine Liturgy is the heart of our parish life. Services are celebrated on Sundays and feast days when a priest is present, primarily in Serbian and English.
Whether you are Orthodox or simply curious, you are welcome to come and pray with us. If this will be your first time at an Orthodox service, you may wish to contact the priest beforehand so that we can greet you and help you follow along.
Services are held at:
7071 Bayers Rd
Halifax, Nova Scotia, B3L 4, Canada
Note: As a missionary parish, the schedule and worship space can occasionally change. Please confirm details using the contact information on this page or the official parish website.
Orthodox worship is reverent and participatory. You may see people lighting candles, venerating icons and making the sign of the Cross. You are welcome to observe quietly. Holy Communion is received by prepared Orthodox Christians; others are invited to receive a blessing and stay for fellowship.

Baptisms, marriages, confession and other sacraments are offered in coordination with the priest. Please reach out well in advance if you are preparing for a sacrament.
After services we often gather for coffee and food. Patronal Slava, major feasts and community celebrations are important moments of fellowship and thanksgiving.
